Service Level Agreements with Carriers

Domestic


  • Service Provider : Transguard


  • Service level :

    • Standard Delivery: completed within 2 business days after pick up date.


  • Shipment Details :

    • Description of package

    • Dimensions

    • Actual Weight


Please note the above are mandatory fields while booking shipments. This will allow the carrier to arrange for appropriate resources for pickup.

  1. Pick up and Delivery Addresses
    1. The addresses should be complete with correct mobile numbers for the courier to be able to contact the shipper and receiver on. Incomplete addresses or unreachable contact numbers may delay the process and result in cancellation of pickup or return of shipment to consignor. Both orders would be chargeable.
  • Weight :

    • Transguard charges per weight of shipment. Dimensional weight is not applicable.

    • Maximum of 20 Kgs can be booked per AirWayBill. Each AWB is charged @AED 21.

    • Larger and heavier shipments can be booked but will be charged @AED 21 per 20Kgs.

    • To book shipments above 20 Kgs, contact support@netparcel.ae for assistance.


  • Cut off time for bookings: 

    • For Same Day pick up, cut off time for bookings is 3 pm. Any booking done after 3pm will be picked up on the following day and delivered the day after.


  • Pick up Time Frame:

    • A minimum of two hours' window should be provided to the carrier to pick up the package.

    • Transguard pickups are done mostly between 4pm to 6pm. However, they can attempt pickup anytime before 6pm.

    • Pick ups cannot be scheduled for Sundays or Public Holidays.


  • Delivery Time Frame:

    • Delivery time can be anywhere between 9 am to 9 pm within a maximum of 2 days from pick up date.

    • A maximum of 3 attempts may be made for delivery of domestic shipments. If the consignee is not available or unreachable on the mentioned contact number, the shipment will be returned to the consignor.


  • COD

    • All bookings will be prepaid. Currently the COD option is not available on netParcel.


  • Cancellations

    • Cancellations are permitted before pickup.

    • Any cancellation after the courier attempts a pickup will be charged in full.

International


  • Service Providers : DHL, FedEx, UPS


  • Service level :

    • Standard Deliveries: Delivery time will be provided on the portal based on destination.


  • Shipment Details :

    • Description of package

    • Dimensions

    • Actual Weight

    • Value of Shipment


Please note the above are mandatory fields while booking shipments. 

This will :

  • allow the carrier to arrange appropriate resources for pickup.

  • customs clearance to be smooth and swift.  Undervaluation of shipments or wrong descriptions may result in Customs inspection and the shipment may be returned to the shipper.

  1. Documents Required:
    1. Any non-document shipment needs to be accompanied by an invoice with appropriate details and packing list.

  • Weight :

    • Upto 50 Kgs can be booked on the portal.

    • For shipments above 50 Kgs, contact the assigned account manager or support@netparcel.ae to request for bulk shipment rates.

  • Cut off time for bookings: 

    • For Same Day pick up, cut off time for bookings is 4 pm. Any booking done after 4pm will be picked up on the following day.


  • Pick up Time Frame:

    • A minimum of two hours' window should be provided to the carrier to pick up the package.

    • Pick up can happen anytime before 6pm.

    • Pick ups cannot be scheduled for Sundays or Public Holidays.

    • In some cities, booking can be done for pick up on Saturdays, however, the pick up cannot be guaranteed by carrier.


  • Delivery Time Frame:

    • Delivery will be done based on the working hours and days of the destination country.

  • COD

    • All bookings will be prepaid. COD option is not available on netParcel.
